REDDING, Calif. -

A Redding home has burned for the second time this week.

Flames tore through a home on Bunker Street at about 11:30 Thursday night, leaving it a total loss.

Witnesses tell us they saw someone behind the home shortly before Thursday night's fire began.

The same home was burned in a fire Sunday night. That fire was caused by combustibles left near a wall heater.

House on Bunker St. Catches Fire a Second Time

We reported on a dispute between the home's two tenants over assistance money provided by the Red Cross.

Cynthia Leroux, one of the roommates said she didn't know the home burned again until KRCR News Channel Seven told her.

She said none of it makes sense and seems suspicious.

"I don't understand. I'm shocked because I don't understand. Why again? I would say that there's a lot of questions that need to be answered," Leroux said.

She said she is thankful she moved most of her belongings that weren't damaged out of the home earlier this week.

We also reached out to Tina Tideman, the other woman who lived in the home, but she didn't want to talk.

The cause of Thursday night's fire is currently under investigation.
