Redding Police Car Runs Off the Road & Crashes

REDDING, Calif. -

A Redding Police car ran off the road into some vegetation Friday morning at 1233 Willis Street, near Placer Street.

It happened around 9 a.m.

A police cadet suffered from an unknown medical issue and went off the road, just missing a utility pole.

He was taken to Shasta Regional Medical Center for treatment of the medical issue.  The cadet did not receive injuries from the crash. Witnesses said the accident caused minor damage to the car no other cars or people were involved.
