Redding Police Recover Marijuana & Car Stolen From Oklahoma

REDDING, Calif. -

A car stolen from Oklahoma was recovered in Redding.  Inside the vehicle police said they found marijuana and a weapon.

Police spotted the stolen Ford Mustang just before 2 a.m. Monday in the parking lot of the Super 8 motel on Churn Creek Road.

In the trunk of the vehicle officers said they found a large amount of marijuana and a shotgun.

Leon Davison and Crystal Spencer of Clinton, Oklahoma were found inside a room at the motel and arrested.

Police say Spencer admitted to stealing the car and coming to California to process the marijuana.
