Shot Fired Into Redding Woman's Apartment

REDDING, Calif. -

Redding Police are trying to determine who shot a bullet into a woman's apartment.

It happened around 8 a.m. Friday.  Redding Police officers responded to the 3300 block of Churn Creek Road.

Jamie Milligan, 27, said she heard a noise that sounded like someone threw a rock at her apartment door.  She went outside  to investigate and saw a man driving away in a newer white four-door car, possibly a Saturn Ion.  

Milligan went back into her apartment and told her roommates what happened when they returned a few minutes later.   Milligan then noticed a hole in the apartment door and discovered a bullet on the floor inside.  No one was injured in the incident.
