Two sisters were arrested by Paradise police on Wednesday morning after exposing a 10-year-old to drug paraphernalia.
Police told us they believe that the sisters, 29-year-old Anna Rothstein and 31-year-old Nancy Rothstein, were either doing meth or crushing up narcotics in their home on the 800-block of Billie Rd.
Officers came to the Rothstein home to do a welfare check after an anonymous transient tipped them off. When they arrived at the house, police said they found bent spoons, needles, syringes and drug residue all over the home including inside the 10-year-old girl's room.
Police also said that all of drug paraphernalia could easily be reached by the child.
Anna Rothstein is being charged with child endangerment, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Nancy Rothstein is being charged with felony child endangerment.
