Special Election Today for State Senate Race

NORTHSTATE, Calif. -

On Tuesday voters will decide who will replace Doug LaMalfa in the state senate.     

The special election pits Republican Jim Nielsen against Democrat Mickey Harrington.

The winner  will represent the State Senate's 4th District.
 
The seat was vacated when Doug LaMalfa stepped down to run for Congress.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. To 8 p.m.
