REDDING, Calif. -

Storm damage will slow traffic in Shasta County for the next two weeks.     

Caltrans is repairing a culvert damaged during the storm on Highway 299W, just west of Redding.

Crews are working in the area to repair the damage.   Traffic is reduced to one lane for about 0.3 mile between between Red Bluff Road (Old Shasta) and Middle Creek Road.

Traffic will be one-way traffic control, 24 hours a day.  

Work includes removing the pavement, repairing the culvert below SR 299, earthwork around the culvert, and repaving.

Work is expected to last for two weeks.
