The severe weather hitting the Northstate has downed trees and power lines, and knocked out power to thousands of people.
PG&E said as of 6:30 a.m. Friday 4,300 customers are without power across the Northern Sacramento Valley.
Power has been restored to all but about a thousand customers in Paradise and Magalia, that's down from 3,500 who lost power overnight.
In Shingletown 2,600 customers remain without power. Classes have been canceled at Black Butte School.
In Corning 1,000 customers were without power early Friday morning but by 6:30 a.m. it was restored.
There are also outages affecting more than 500 customers in Cottonwood and Willows.
Police say there was localized flooding on several streets in Chico, including the areas of Highway 32 and Bruce Road, and Forest Avenue near Flying V.
