A man arrested along with his father in the 1997 disappearance of a 15-year-old Northern California girl has been released from jail.
Siskiyou County District Attorney Kirk Andrus declined to immediately file charges against 35-year-old Ed Henline Jr., referring the case back to the Sheriff's Office for further investigation. Henline was released on Monday.
The Klamath Falls, Oregon resident was arrested last month on suspicion of conspiracy and being an accessory in the disappearance of Hannah Zaccaglini from the community of McCloud. His father, 57-year-old Ed Henline Sr., has been charged with murder in the case. He has pleaded not guilty.
Authorities say the older Henline was the last person seen with Zaccaglini before she went missing on June 5, 1997.
