Two Homes Destroyed In Early Morning Fire In Lakehead

LAKEHEAD, Calif. -

A fire that burned for four hours in Lakehead destroyed two homes early Wednesday morning.

It was reported around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lakeshore Drive.

There was a huge response with seven engines and four water tenders responding.  No one was injured.  

A neighbor told KRCR Newschannel 7 the homes have a view of Shasta Lake.  In addition to the two homes that were destroyed, a 3rd structure was threatened.
