UPDATE: Jackknifed Big Rig Blocks Traffic on Interstate 5

LAKEHEAD, Calif. -

UPDATE: A jackknifed big rig blocked all lanes of traffic on Interstate 5 in the Delta Road area late Tuesday morning.

The accident happened around 10:00am. The Highway Patrol shut down both northbound lanes of traffic for over an hour while crews worked to clear debris.

The cause of the accident is unknown and is still under investigation. There were no injuries reported.
