A Shasta County man was taken to the hospital after his bicycle was hit by an SUV. The collision happened just after 9 p.m. Sunday at Highway 273 and North Street in Anderson.
Robert Yearry, 52, was hit by a Nissan Armada driven by 42-year-old Kimber Echelberger. Several witnesses tell police that Yearry ran a red light and veered into Echelberger's driving lane.
Yearry was taken to Mercy Medical Center where he was treated and released.
There are no charges being pressed at this time.
