As the last in a series of storms moves through the Northstate, some chain requirements continue.
Fortunately, as of 7:15a.m. on Wednesday, all chain requirements for Interstate 5 had been lifted.
The same couldn't be said for other Northstate highways though.
On Highway 44, chains and snow tires were required from three miles east of Shingletown to two miles east of Old Station in Shasta County.
On Highway 299, chains were lifted on Wednesday morning on all vehicles except in Modoc County. Chains are required on single axle drive vehicles towing trailers from 10 miles west to four miles west of Canby in Modoc County.
Chains are also required on single axle drive vehicles towing trailers from nine miles west of Cedarville to Cedarville in Modoc County.
