Icy conditions forced the closure of Highway 70 through Oroville Wednesday morning. The road was closed at the Feather River Bridge for about one hour from 7 a.m. until just after 8 a.m.
Rain and hail may have frozen over, creating very icy conditions.
Caltrans had detours in place until the road reopened.
