REDDING, Calif. -

The Shasta County Coroner's Office has identified the man shot and killed in Big Bend early Saturday morning.

The victim is identified as Sonny Moss Potts, 27.  An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

Shasta County deputies responded to the shooting Saturday morning in Big Bend.

The call came in at 4:48 a.m. from Big Bend Rancheria in northeast Shasta County.  Deputies said a Native American man was shot and killed at a residence about a quarter-mile past the Pit Stop store on Big Bend Road.

After questioning detectives arrested 28 year-old Noah Ryan Potts for suspicion of murder and 25 year-old Colin Horn Kennedy for conspiring to commit murder.

Detectives have not released a motive in the case.  The relationship between the suspects and victim was not immediately clear.
