Update: Victims Identified in Double Fatal Crash Near Round Mountain

ROUND MOUNTAIN, Calif. -

The CHP has identified the victims of Monday's crash on Highway 299 that left two people dead and a third person critically injured.

According to the CHP, the driver Jessica Noel Kresge, 20 of Alturas, was killed.  A back seat passenger Wesley Bruce Williams, 15, was also killed.

Bradley Austin Kresge, 16, a passenger in the front-seat, was critically injured and taken to Mercy Medical Center.

The CHP said speed and damp roads played a role in the crash.

Investigators said the 2005 Kia Rio went off road and hit a tree along Highway 299.
