Valero Gas Station Canopy Topples During Storm

CHICO, Calif. -

A canopy above a Valero gas station in Chico fell over during Saturday night's storm at East 8th Street and Bartlett Street.

The canopy over the pumps fell at around 6:10 a.m. on Sunday morning. Valero said that no one was hurt when the canopy collapsed and that there was no damage to the pumps--only to the ground and the canopy itself.

Valero has not yet released when the station will be fixed and reopened.
