The Redding Veterans home is holding a job fair Wednesday.  

The veterans home is looking to hire approximately 100 people at the new location on Knighton Road.  The veterans home is scheduled to open sometime in the fall of 2013.  There will be approximately 100 positions filled.

The job fair runs Wednesday 8 a.m. To 4 p.m. at the veterans home at 3400 Knighton Road in Redding.

It is planned that the first veteran residents will be admitted to the homes in the fall after staff is hired and the long-term care facility concludes its mandated licensing and certification process.
