The community is coming together to support the victims of the Ponderosa fire that raced through the area a little more than a month ago.
The more than 27,600 acre blaze destroyed 52 homes and 81 outbuildings, forcing thousands of evacuations throughout the Manton and Shingletown area.
Patty Anglin is one of the fundraiser's organizers. She's lived in Manton with her husband for 4 years.
The Anglins were evacuated during the fire but thankfully their home was saved.
Anglin said after seeing the fire's destruction she knew she had to do something.
"I feel it's important that we stick together as a community and give back to the people who have lost so much. Some of them got away with just the shirt on their back or they lost their animals. We need to support them through this terrible time and help them get back on their feet," said Anglin.
The fundraiser will be held on Saturday at Cedar Crest Vineyards on Forward Road in Manton.
It starts at 1:30 p.m. and goes until 7 p.m.
It's $10 at the door for a tri-tip dinner donated by Rolling Hills Casino.
There will be live music by the Wild Card band and Matthew Songmaker.
There will also be raffles and an auction.
All of the money raised will benefit the victims of the Ponderosa Fire.
