West Cottonwood High School Goes on Lockdown After Possible Mountain Lion On Campus

West Cottonwood High School had to go on lockdown Friday morning due to a possibile mountain lion on the premises.
A neighbor near the school saw the mountain lion and called the school around 8:45 in the morning.
Superintendent of the Cottonwood Union School District Bob Lowden said the school was on lockdown for just a few minutes.
Shasta Deputies along with their K-9's searched the premises. Fish and Game helped with the search as well. The search lasted a couple of hours.
