REDDING, Calif. -

A Redding woman is in critical condition after she reportedly slipped in a puddle and was hit by a car Thursday afternoon.

It happened in the Win-River Casino parking lot. California Highway Patrol officers said 68-year-old Susan Skaggs of Redding was reportedly walking out of the casino and fell in a puddle of water in front of a red Ford Mustang.

The driver of the Mustang said she didn't realize the woman was in front of her car when she pulled away and hit Skaggs.

Skaggs is listed in critical condition at Mercy Medical Center.  The case is still under investigation.
