A woman was stabbed Friday evening near the Pit River Casino.
It happened just before 7:00 p.m.
The Shasta County Sheriff's Office says Hattie Montgomery, 37, suffered moderate stab wounds, and was airlifted to a Redding-area hospital for treatment.
Deputies arrested Victoria Gensaw, 35, on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
Investigators say Montgomery identified Gensaw as the suspect.
Officials have not released a motive for the stabbing.
