LINCOLN, Calif. -

The body of the Red Bluff soldier killed in Afghanistan is back in California.

22-year-old Nicholas Burley's casket was escorted from Dover, Delaware on Monday. Family, friends, and the community expressed a heavy wave of emotion out on the tarmac.

Burley's brother, Michael Collins, escorted Nicholas' body across the country, landing in Lincoln around 11 a.m.

The Roseville Fire Department Honor Guard carried the casket from the plane.

The funeral procession, lead by the California Highway Patrol, left the airport followed by dozens of Patriot Guard Motorcycle Riders.
