ONO, Calif. -

Containment is growing on the Bully Fire in Shasta County.   As of Monday morning, CAL FIRE reported the size of the fire remained unchanged overnight at 12,661 acres.

Containment had improved to 81 percent.

Twenty structures have been destroyed since the fire started on Friday, July 11.  No structures are currently threatened.

There are currently 1,670 fire personnel working on the fire. 

One person was killed while apparently trying to flee the flames during the first hours of the fire.  The name of the victim has not been released, pending DNA tests.

CAL FIRE said firefighters continue to mop up and strengthen control lines. Significant improvements are being made on all areas of the fire. Fire suppression repair continues.
