There are more than 2100 fire personnel fighting the fire. CAL FIRE said the fire continued to grow during the day Monday with active burning fanned by winds. The limited access to the fire area continues to be a major challenge. Additional crews are being assigned to the firelines.
With the current weather conditions and elevated fire danger, CAL FIRE is asking everyone to use extreme caution. For more information on how to prepare for wildfires, go to www.readyforwildfire.org.
