ANDERSON, Calif. -

The public is invited to send off the Enterprise High School football team in style as they head to the State Championship game in Southern California.

Burger King is hosting the team for a free send-off lunch Thursday at the restaurant at 2535 North Street in Anderson. 

Burger King will honor the local football champions by donating lunch to the team and supporting staff.  The gathering is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. Thursday.

After lunch, the team will board buses and head to Southern California.

The Division 2 State Championship game is Saturday at 4 p.m. in Carson.  The Enterprise Hornets will take on the Chaminade Eagles from West Hills, California.
