OROVILLE, Calif. - Police are on the hunt for a man they say is responsible for shooting three people early Sunday morning in Oroville.
Police said they don't have a lot to go on as far as a description of the shooter, and they're not ruling out the possibility this could be gang related.
Oroville police got the call of shots fired at an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Daryl Porter Way just before 1 a.m.
When officers arrived they found three gunshot victims and another man who had been beaten. according to police a fight broke out following an earlier party.
Neighbors said they heard five gunshots and heard two cars speeding away. Police are tracking down leads that could lead them to the suspect.
"We are getting very limited information available to us on the description of the shooter or the vehicle they were in," said Lieutenant Al Byers with the Oroville Police Department. "So we are still working down leads but the witnesses are only able to provide us with limited information at this time."
The victims were two men in their 20s and one teenager. Two were taken to Oroville Hospital, and the third was flown to Enloe Medical Center. All of them are expected to recover.
