CHICO, Calif. -

A Chico man was arrested was after police say he ran into two men with his car.    

It happened just before 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Valero Gas station on Longfellow Avenue.

Police said the two owners of the gas station asked the suspect to leave after he caused a disturbance.

Police say the driver 30-year-old Matthew Dorenzo became irate, drove into one man, made a U-turn and hit a second man.

An officer spotted the car outside the 7-11 at East and Ceres, he was arrested on two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
