CHICO, Calif. -

A vehicle crashed into a Chico business Saturday evening.

It happened at Valley Lock and Safe on Mangrove Ave. around 6:30 p.m.

According to Chico police, the vehicle was a Subaru Outback driven by 46 year-old Rhonda Pimentel.

Officers said Pimentel was under the influence of alcohol.

Pimentel, along with another female passenger, Krista Clatterback, were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police said they had a difficult time getting the two women to admit to who was driving.

According to police Clatterback initially told officers she was pregnant but that report turned out to be unfounded.

Officers said there were also two young children in the car who sustained a few minor bumps and bruises.

Chico police said Pimentel is expected to be charged with DUI and child endangerment.
