Chico State's Jazmine Miller has been named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 20-26.

The Fairfield native averaged 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game to lead the Wildcats to a pair of big road wins over Cal Poly Pomona and Humboldt State.

Miller scored 17 points and dished out six assists in an 85-73 win at first-place and 14th-ranked Cal Poly Pomona Thursday night.  The following night she scored 18 points, 14 of which were scored in the second half, and pulled down nine rebounds in a 69-66 win at Humboldt State.

On the weekend, the senior guard shot 10-for-17 from the floor with five shots made from three point range and 10-for-12 from the free throw line for a total of 35 points.  She also added 13 rebounds, seven assists, and two steals to an outstanding weekend performance.
