Corning man arrested for drive-by shooting

CORNING, Calif. -

A drive-by shooting in Corning landed a man in jail.

Police responded to a report of a drive-by shooting just after 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday at 516 Chestnut St.

Officers located the car described by victims and found 30-year-old Ryan Griffin (aka Ryan Wood) of Corning, who also had a semi-automatic handgun.

Griffin was arrested for attempted murder.  He is being held at the Tehama County Jail on $1,280,000 bail.
