Driver ejected from vehicle after crashing in high-speed chase

REDDING, Calif. -

A high-speed chase involving an alleged drunk-driver has ended in rollover crash.

Redding Police chased the man after reports of drunk-driving in the Churn Creek Bottom area.

They began to pursue the vehicle at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour going north on Airport Road.

The driver went eastbound towards Palo Cedro, continuing at unsafe speeds, when his vehicle came off the roadway, and rolled several times, eventually landing on a golf course.

California Highway Patrol says the driver was ejected.

California Highway Patrol is investigating the chase.
