RED BLUFF, Calif. -

A 28-year-old man is dead after his SUV rolled several times in Tehama County. Investigators say the driver was under the influence. 

The collision happened around 8:30 p.m. Monday Jelly's Ferry Road near Saron Fruit Colony Road north of Red Bluff.

The CHP said the driver was eastbound on Jelly's Ferry Road near when he lost control of the SUV, over-corrected and rolled the vehicle.

The driver was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the car.           

Four passengers, including  three teenagers, were treated for minor to moderate injuries.

Officers said alcohol and drugs were found on the scene. 

His name was not released.
