Dutch Bros. barista robbed at gunpoint, suspect on the loose

A suspect is on the loose after robbing the Dutch Bros. on South Market and Grange Streets on Wednesday night, according to Redding police.

Sgt. Walt Bullington said a white male suspect in his 20s, with a slender build, approached the barista at 10:23 p.m. and demanded cash while brandishing a gun.

The barista, who is reportedly in his 20s, fled the scene immediately.

The suspect then grabbed an unknown amount of cash from behind the counter.

No one was injured during the robbery and the store will be open during regular business hours on Thursday.
