REDDING, Calif. -

The Enterprise High School football team won the the D-2 NorCal Championship Saturday night in Stockton.  The Hornets defeated the Manteca Buffaloes by a final of 27-21 at Lincoln High School.

The Hornets advance to the State Championship game next week.

Enterprise fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter, but rallied to tie the game 21-21 at halftime.

The Hornets pulled ahead in the 3rd quarter and never trailed again.

The Enterprise team was treated to a breakfast of champions Saturday morning.

A crowd gathered in the school parking lot for a tailgate party and breakfast before the team headed south.
