Felon arrested for possession of drugs and ammunition

A felon is facing numerous charges after deputies found cannabis, meth and ammunition in his car.

On Sun., Aug. 25th at around 9:30 a.m., John Maxstadt was pulled over in the general area of Highway 99 East and Grant Street in Los Molinos on a suspended license.

Deputies found ammunition, concentrated cannabis, and a realistic looking BB pistol in the car. About .5 grams of meth was also located in Maxstadt's shoe.

As a felon, Maxstadt is not allowed to have guns or ammunition.

Maxstadt was arrested and booked into the Tehama County Jail.
