PALERMO, Calif. -

Initially, 911 callers thought ammo could be inside the trailer, but fortunately that turned out not to be the case. No animals were inside either.

The fire broke out around 7:45 a.m. on the 7500 block of Putman Avenue.

Crews attacked the fire aggressively to prevent it from spreading to nearby dry brush fields.

"It's important that people are fire safe because it could have had that potential,” said Peter York from CAL FIRE. “Lucky it was parked on nice spot for us on a gravel driveway so that kept the risk down."

CAL FIRE said they were able to contain the blaze within 10 minutes of arriving on scene. There was no estimated cost of the damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and no one was hurt.
