JUNCTION CITY, Calif. -

A mobile home was destroyed and several acres of vegetation were charred after a fire in Junction City Sunday.

The blaze was reported around 1:30 p.m. off Highway 299 and Rifle Range Road.

CAL FIRE said the fire started in the mobile home then spread to two to three acres of vegetation around the home.

Fire crews from several agencies were able to get the fire contained in less than an hour, but officials estimated they would still be on scene mopping up for several hours.

CAL FIRE said no one was hurt and the cause is under investigation.
