Redding and Chico airports dealing with delays due to SFO plane crash
Air travelers going to San Francisco are in a holding pattern in Redding and Chico, due to flight delays caused by the crash of an Asiana Airlines flight into San Francisco International Airport (SFO).
A flight to SFO out of Chico was loaded on the tarmac and about 15-minutes from takeoff when they were alerted to news of the crash.
A source told KRCR News Channel 7 that it was doubtful that flights would resume on Saturday as the SFO runway will take several hours to be cleared.
