Gas prices hold steady over the holiday weekend

REDDING, Calif. -

Gas prices in the Northstate are holding steady after several weeks of declines.  

According to the new numbers from the Fuel Gauge Report, California's average price is up two cents over the last week to $3.58 per gallon.  

In Chico the average price is $3.46, the same as last week, and in Redding the average is down one cent to $3.51.     

Nationally the average is $3.27, that's down one cent.  Local gas prices are 16 to 18 cents lower than this time last month.
