NORTHSTATE, Calif. -

Gas prices are rising across the country, and in the Northstate.
 
According to the Fuel Gauge Report compiled by Triple A, the national average for gas prices is $3.32.  That's an increase of a penny since last week.

In California the average price is $3.67 a gallon, up two cents from last week.   In Redding the average is $3.60, up three cents over the last seven days.  In Chico, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.59,  up five cents in the last week.
