REDDING, Calif. -

A car chase led to a foot pursuit in Redding on Monday morning. According to police, at some point during the chase, shots might've been fired.

Police said the chase actually began at a Wal-Mart in Anderson where police spotted a stolen vehicle. When the police attempted to pull the car over, the car took off.

The chase continued to Redding and ended at the intersection of Highway 299 and Churn Creek Road. Anderson Police initially said that at least one shot was fired at officers during the chase.  However on Tuesday morning they said an extensive search of the pursuit route was conducted and no firearm was located.

At Highway 299 and Churn Creek Road, three men and one woman jumped out of the car and ran.

Anderson Police said the names of the suspects are 23 year old Billie Jo Patterson, who they say was driving the allegedly stolen Pontiac Grand Prix, and the passengers were 24 year old Raymond Lamar Thomas, 31 year old Benjamin Barnett and 21 year old Jennifer Anne Barrett.

Police called an ambulance for to do a precautionary evaluation for the Barrett, who is four months pregnant.

Anderson police, Redding police, the Shasta County Sheriff's Office and California Highway Patrol responded.

According to police scanners, during the chase, the suspects' car reached speeds of between 100 and 110 miles per hour.
