A human femur and some rib bones were found in the woods near Holiday Harbor on Lake Shasta Sunday.

The bones were discovered by a worker who was escorting a few men around the property.

The men were there searching for old bottles, some of which can fetch up to $20 per bottle.

The bones were found in a ravine near an area used by Holiday Harbor for houseboat storage and repair.

Holiday Harbor personnel think the bones might be from a man who went missing in the area around two years ago.

The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
