REDDING, Calif. -

In many ways, Labor Day marks the unofficial end to summer.

In Redding, WaterWorks Park was busy on its last day open until Memorial Day of next year.

Many people took advantage of the three day weekend to soak in the sun and some fun.

People of all ages seemed to be enjoying the last day of WaterWorks summer hours.

"One of my favorite things is going on the [Cyclone] because you flip around backwards,” said Wyatt Gardner.

The park closed at 6 p.m. for the season.
