A long-time and well-known art teacher at Pleasant Valley High School in Chico was killed while camping in Alaska.

Edwin Logan, 72, died on Tuesday after falling onto rocks during a camping trip with friends in the Alaskan port city of Seward.
Alaska state troopers said it appears the fall was accident.
