RED BLUFF, Calif. -

A Tehama County mother has been sentenced to 9 years, 4 months in prison after police say she crashed into another vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance.

The crash happened in March.  Investigators said after the crash, officers conducted a search of Rebecca Wiley's purse and located methamphetamine, syringes and prescription pills.

According to the Tehama County District Attorney's Office, Wiley was convicted of child abuse with a special allegation, a prior strike and transportation of a controlled substance.
