PARADISE, Calif. -

People in paradise may be pumping the breaks after a dozen streets around town had speed limits changed Wednesday.

The Paradise Town Council approved the changes in January.

Brand new speed limit signs have been put in place on portions of some of the busier roads in Paradise, although no changes were made to the Skyway.

Here's a look at what roads have had speed limits adjusted:

- Bille Road between Skyway and Clark Road: from 35 mph to 30 mph.

- Buschmann Road between Foster Road and Clark Road: from 25 mph to 30 mph.

- Neal Road between Skyway and Roe Road: 35 mph to 30 mph.

- Oliver Road between Skyway and Bille Road: 30 mph to 25 mph.

- Oliver Road between Bille Road and Wagstaff Road: 25 mph to 30 mph.

- Pearson Road between Black Olive Drive and Clark Road: 25 mph to 30 mph.

- Pearson Road between Butte View Terrace and Pentz Road: 25 mph to 35 mph.

- Pentz Road between Hill Park and Town Limits: 40 mph to 35 mph.

- Sawmill Road between Bille Road and Pearson Road: 35 mph to 30 mph.

- Valley View Drive between Oliver Road and END: 35 mph to 30 mph.

- Wagstaff Road between Skyway and Clark Road: 35 mph to 30 mph.

- Wagstaff Road between Clark Road and Pentz Road: 35 mph to 30 mph.

Also, anywhere there is no posted speed limit is considered 25 mph per state laws.
