Parkinson's patient accosted & robbed

CHICO, Calif. -

A man suffering from Parkinson's disease was accosted and robbed in Chico late Wednesday night.

The incident happened around 11 p.m. on Cohasset Road at the Highway 99 overpass.

Chico police said the man was walking southbound on the sidewalk when he was approached from behind by two men.  One of the men grabbed him by the neck and shoulder, while the other subject began checking his pockets.

While he was being held, one of the men removed money from the victim's pocket.

The victim walked to the Enloe Prompt Care on Cohasset Road to report the incident.

The suspects were last seen running southbound on Cohasset Road toward Mangrove Avenue.  They are described as 5'10" wearing baseball caps. 

The victim was not injured.  He was only able to provide limited information about the suspects.
