After a lot of work and help from the community the city of Red Bluff will have a fireworks show on the 4th of July.
Preparation started early in the morning. The fireworks are launching from behind the Elks Lodge in Red Bluff.
The Elks Lodge also had water events for the kids to keep them cool throughout the day, along with a watermelon eating contest.
“It was a big disappointment for the community last year,” said Jennifer Guarino, who is a part of the Tehama County Fireworks Committee. “When we weren't able to come out and have fireworks, we put together the Tehama County fireworks committee and everybody in the community just really pulled together to raise $16,000."
The event was open for the whole community.
