REDDING, Calif. -

Redding City Council members voted unanimously Tuesday night to have the State Attorney General investigate the former operator of Redding's community access channel.

This comes after an independent audit showed the Redding Community Access Corporation (RCAC) came up $110,000 dollars short from 2009 to April of 2013.

The decision came at the recommendation of Support Services Director, Rod Dinger.

Dinger told KRCR News Channel 7 the Attorney General has to accept the investigation first in order to move forward with potential legal action.
